November 21, 2017 by ShapeDiver

>>Getting to know…<< is the place where ShapeDiver introduces game changers in the field of Parametric Design. During our blog series we’ll let great brands do the talking and present their projects, so sit back and enjoy!

Who we are…

DesignMorphine is a creative hub for design through workshops, lectures, projects and explorations in the field of architecturedesign and the arts.

Our goal is to provide the essential elements of trending design practices in a condensed way. Our team is composed of many talented designers and architects, lead in the moment by Tsvetelina GeorgievaPavlina Vardoulaki and Michael Pryor.

It is currently reaching 29 members and it is defined by a multidisciplinary approach to design and its education. In this way, we not only exchange experiences and learn from each other, but we also have the capacity to deal with any type of task, whether it will be the realization of a workshop or an architectural project.

We have conducted over 30 workshops and courses in Europe, the Middle East and the USA. DesignMorphine has been also involved in many other innovative projects with different companies, competitions and charity activities, with successful collaborations with Harvardand MIT.

For 2018 we have planned many workshops for EuropeAsia and America. The themes of these workshops vary from digital experimenting in order to learn new software, to fabrication or art related topics, defining the DesignMorphine multi-oriented ideology.

Our Workshops

The workshops in 2018 are starting in February with Transcendent Realities V2.0 in Yerevan, ArmeniaAlgorithmic Accessories V3.0 in Vienna, Austria and Vertical Variables V2.0 in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Every workshop has a unique program and promotional materials such as images and videos specially created by the tutors.

Our workshops are structured in a way which gives the opportunity to learn a lot for a short period of time. The goal is every participant to design a project which is ready for their portfolio after completing the workshop. During that process they learn a wide range of software techniques.

We use many types of software suitable for parametric and generative modeling. Most of the workshops include in their program more than one software. Usually it is a software combination giving the best approach to a complex problem on which the workshop program is based.
